AC-7 Core Mini App Reviews

Nice work

Just spent the afternoon tracking and punching in piano parts at the other end of the studio from the computer. Pretty seemless.

Great app so long as...

You HAVE to forward the ports used by the app( 5004-5005) . Once your router is setup this app works perfectly. Using it with sonar X1 and it is seamless . Network latency is pretty well a non issue. Highly recommend this app to anyone who needs remote control of their DAW . Nice work!!

Great App

Followed the instructions on setup and no problems. Running Sonar 8.5 LE on Windows 7 and using a 3rd gen iPod.

Nothing works! No Help no nothing!

Ok what a waste of time this App, and company is! - Website has been down for some time. - No help or documentation for the app!!! - No way to tell how to use it. I give it zero! P.S. For those of you who mentioned they followed directions, & it works great... Well can you tell the rest of us where the directions are?

Amazing app

Not too long ago it would have cost $500 or more to do what this app does for $2.99 and it works perfect. Thanks

Set up as Mackie mixer

Along with forwarding the ports 5004 to 5005 on your router to the computers up your editing on, also set up the midi controller as a Mackie controller in studio one and itll map everything for you nicely!

Ottimo

Davvero ben fatto!!

Great, but..

..it needs an update for ios7!! Pleeeeease...

Cant get it working yet

Cant seem to get it to work on xp.. Also a scary click noise when any controls are touched ?!

Good update

I like the modes in this app so you can control diffent DAW programs very fast without having to remember what button does what. I replaced the old AC7 with this one and it is worth the price. The old AC7 did not fully work on windows but this app works full featured a most have in the vocal booth.

Awesome

Works great, this will be very helpful when recording acoustic guitar on my own without have to move from the mic too much for re-takes, etc.

Awesome

Works great on my W7 x64 machine using Reaper 3.74. Downloaded the rtpMIDI driver, and set it up as mentioned on the developers user forum. The jog dial is a little sluggish, and you cant adjust the volume of the "click" sound ... but it does what it says and is VERY handy. I see meters, track names, pan ect ... all on my iPod Touch 4G. FEATURE REQUEST = Let users adjust the volume of the "click" or at least mute it.

Awesome.

Up and running on Win7 64 bit in minutes, using Sonar Producer 8.5. I would buy an iPhone (or iPod touch) just for this app, if I did not already have one.

Pretty Cool

....Ok, I used it on my Iphone for about 2 hrs and I like it, Plus Im on my way to buy an IPAD to use the big version with the Ext. I was already in the market for a Daw-controller and this will work just fine. I have a Novation Zero to control plugins. The faders are smooth, the trasnport / jog wheel is responsive and the buttons are quick...the app works better than I thought it would. I also own Ac-7 pro, but the set up was a pain so I never used it. If this could control the Plugins better This would kill the market of surface controllers, and this is only 5 bucks. This app is GREAT for mixing/recording away from the desk.

PTHD 8.1

Works nice for what it is. Few bugs when setting up, but customer service is great. Still a few bugs to work out, but they are minor. Well worth the price. Especially if you need transport control away from your keyboard.

Innovators in the game

Definitely looking forward to trying out this new version. Hope its everything its cracked up to be...

Bugs

Its still really buggy I have an iPhone 4 and tried running it with pro tools 8.0.4 it connects and detects it but like none of the things show up and work the way they are supposed to!

So close to perfect...

Works great in Pro Tools 9. My only gripe? No UNDO button! When Im in my basement recording drums its nice to be able to hit "undo" when I make a mistake. ProTransport lets me do this. Make this feature happen and Ill change my rating to 5 stars!

Big Money Saver

Im an instant fan. I purchased this app last night and had it up and running with Logic 9 in minutes. I wish it came with instructions but a quick search in Google solved that issue. It works natively with OSX so I didnt have to install any software, just configured in Mac Audio/Midi Setup. I purchased AC-7 because, I needed a transport with undo and record enable functions to record remotely in my booth. I was thinking about buying a Tranzport for over $200 but this app has all the same functions and more...plus costs pennies in comparison. Additionally, its much more responsive than I expected, marginal delay. I Would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to record remotely. If I had an iPad I wouldnt need any other control surface as this app has all the same functions as the MCU. Highly Recommended! An independent recording artist couldnt find a better way to spend $5...

Cant connect

I dont understand how to hook my iphone up to the directory??? Please help or i want refund.
